Buon Viaggio!

I have recently been accepted to the University of Tennessee's annual study abroad program in Urbino, Italy. This opportunity allows students studying Italian, Public Relations, and Journalism to study in a new and exciting environment. While abroad I will be taking classes in my major including a Public Relations campaigns class in which I will study past PR campaigns and analyze what was successful and what was not about each campaign. I will also continue to refine my knowledge on journalism by taking a journalism and electronic media class. This program will give me hands on experience in the Public Relations industry and the opportunity to live outside of the U.S. for six weeks. This will be my first experience traveling outside of the country so I would appreciate any advice for traveling in Italy and abroad. There's a First Time for Everything

I am so excited to be blogging for the first time! This blog will be mainly utilized for my professional life as well as my endeavors that will help me further my understanding and experience in the world of Public Relations!

My ZTA sisters and I were involved in a recent PR campaign  put on by the Knoxville Ice Bears called "Pink Out the Rink". At this event we helped promote Breast Cancer Education and Awareness.
